The hatchet must fall on the block – 257/366 (catch up)

What pressure did I feel today?

Well, for starters… I am officially more than a month behind on a post for every day for a year.

I am trying not to make that make me feel bad, but it does and it will… and then over the grand passage of time the guilt will dissipate… if only to allow room for something new.

“The hatchet must fall on the block; the oak must be cleft to the centre. The weight of the world is on my shoulders. Here is the pen and the paper; on the letters in the wire basket I sign my name, I, I, and again I.”
~ Virginia Woolf, The Waves
